The “Schleiferl – light” with a new design, new material and further
developed in detail. Due to the low dead weight and the improved feel,
sharpening chainsaws is even more fun. The special grinding belt ensures
maximum sharpness with a long service life.
The grinder sharpens the chainsaw with a grinding belt. The fine
grinding belt achieves a unique sharpness on the chain. Chains can be
quickly sharpened using the bit screwdriver drive.
The grinder works with both the small chains for cordless saws (1/4″P) and the large harvester chains (.404″).
The advantages at a glance:
– Perfectly shaped tooth cutting edges thanks to the grinding belt that runs out at the top
– simple application
– no loss of shape of the sharpening tool due to wear
– Fast sharpening without having to remove the chains from the bar
– Tolerant to angle errors when sharpening due to the grinding belt running out at the top
– Suitable for very small chains (1/4″ Picco) as well as for harvester chains (.404)
– economical & fast
– Long service life of the sanding belts
– economical & fast
Practical tip for the service life of the grinding belt: High speed +
low contact pressure = long service life for the grinding belt.
Abrasive grains can wear down in the micrometer range, but they need
sufficient time to be able to process the steel. If the grinding
pressure is too high, the entire grain tears off the grinding belt. High
belt speed and low contact pressure give the abrasive grain time to
process the saw tooth.
Scope of delivery:
Grinder incl | Premium abrasive belt and abrasive shaft
Hex screwdriver according to selection
Options:

Endurance – sanding belt
With the depth limiter grinder, you can adjust the scraper or depth limiter exactly to its saw tooth.
Simply place the bevel on the saw tooth and use the impact wrench to
reset the depth limiter to the appropriate height with the special
serrated washer.
It could hardly be easier, faster and more precise to trim the depth gauges to the correct height.
Through a suitable depth limiter set to his sawtooth,
does the saw chain not run
has a smooth editing behavior
a plunge cut can be performed safely
the chainsaw has a high cutting capacity
minimized wear on the cutting attachment
Here you will find the right sanding belt for your application:
Practical tip for the service life of the sanding belt: High speed + low contact pressure = long service life of the sanding belt + high cutting performance of the chainsaw.
Abrasive grains can wear down in the micrometer range, but they need sufficient time to be able to process the steel. Excessive grinding pressure leads to the entire grain tearing off the grinding belt. High belt speed and low contact pressure give the abrasive grain time to process the saw tooth.

The Schleiferl V1.2, in a new design and further developed, is the
sharpening tool of the future, which eliminates the disadvantages of
previous sharpening tools.
It has the following advantages due to the grinding belt as a sharpening principle:
– high removal rate
– Perfectly shaped tooth profiles (front and roof angle), easily achievable
– no annealing of the teeth
– The chrome layer of the saw teeth is not damaged
– no loss of shape of the sharpening tool due to wear
– Chain is sharpened on the bar
– Tolerant of angle errors when sharpening due to the grinding belt running out at the top
– Suitable for very small chains (1/4″ Picco) as well as for harvester chains (.404) (additional grinding shafts required)
– economical & quickly
The Schleiferl is the first chain sharpening tool that works with a
grinding belt. This is driven by small hex screwdrivers. The speed of
the screwdriver should be at least 3000 rpm.
Practical tip for abrasive belt life: High speed + low contact pressure = long abrasive belt life.
Abrasive grains can wear down in the micrometer range, but they need
sufficient time to be able to process the steel. Excessive grinding
pressure leads to the entire grain tearing off the grinding belt. High
belt speed and low contact pressure give the abrasive grain time to
process the saw tooth.

Accessories for the grinder to sharpen saw chains. This shaft is perfect for sharpening cordless chainsaws or carving swords at a speed that has never been achieved before. The shaft is made of hardened steel to effectively avoid bending of the shaft due to the small diameter. To assemble the shaft, loosen the sanding belt tension and the shaft can easily be inserted by hand.
